Condolences
Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family. She was a wonderful neighbor back in our Dundalk condo and remained a cherished friend through the years. We always enjoyed going out for dinners together and she loved to try Indian food! We loved seeing her comments on Facebook about Dylan and will miss reading those and we will truly miss her.
All our love,
Rita and Chandani
To Lynda, Andrea and Diana,
Our family met your brave mom Dorothy during our visit in summer 79. It was a great pleasure for us and she always stayed in contact with us and had a lot of kind and warm words in her mails when we needed them so much.
We hope that you and your families have the strength to through this time.
Our deepest condolences

My sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful mother. She was a fun and easy going lady. Dorothy and I spent many hours watching our kids swim and play on the beach at the cottage. They were fun times which we all remember and talk about still.
She will be greatly missed by so many. May she rest In peace.
I have so many fun memories of Dorothy and all of the girls both here in Alberta and back in Toronto. She was a great listener when you had a problem and laughed at all of our antics as young people. Love to Lynda, Andrea and Diana. What a great mom you had.
Lynda, Andrea and Diana, I am so sorry for your loss. I can picture your mom clearly on the beach at the cottage with a chuckle and a smile like it was yesterday.
My deepest sympathies to all of you in this difficult time.

Aunt Dot you will forever be in my heart. You always treated me as your own daughter and was so interested in whatever I or my family was doing. You had a fantastic sense of humour which kept you going even when times were hard. I could talk to you about anything and anyone. I'm so glad that we could share some laughter and tears in your final days. You showed such courage and bravery and as always wanted no fuss. We will miss you and love you. Xx

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful mom, may her memory be a blessing to you.
I have such fond memories of the time up at the cottage with your mom. I fondly remember so many laughs upon the beach and dock. She always had a smile for us. She will be deeply missed by the Potash family. Sending you all hugs.

For many many years Dorothy attended the exercise classes that I taught at the Westside Rec Center. I was impressed with her dedication and her enthusiasm. She was so incredibly proud of her family. She told many stories which always made me smile. Dorothy was a kind hearted soul. I was particularly wowed when she told me about going kayaking as she was probably 75 at the time. She will be missed. Deepest sympathy to her three daughters and all of the grandchildren and extended family. Lynn
Dot, my best friend ever and my favourite aunt. The gifts she gave to me growing up are irreplacable. I am forever grateful for the gift of never losing my sense of humour, unconditional love, and perseverance. There will always be a special place in my heart for Dot and her daughters Linda, Andrea and Diana.
Loving thoughts for all of you.
I was one of those teenage friends of Lynda’s who used to visit with Mrs. Dowd at their house in Scarborough. She was such a good listener and made me feel so welcome. She was a real sweetie. Sending my love to her family at this difficult time. - Wendy Sobotka
