Sincere Condolences to all the children, their spouses and all the extended families of Aunty Coonty. Although we all know that one day 'we will depart from this earthly home', yet we are very sad when our loved one ceases to be around us -only leaving behind cherished memories. What a remarkable long life Aunty has lived and we are blessed to have known her. I met her in Calgary and many a conversation with her over the years, filled volumes of life in Guyana, Calgary and her travels to families, weddings, births and celebrations of her very big extended family. I enjoyed those conversations and will miss chatting with Aunty/Mai. I must admit that I have a treasure - My two young grand kids with Mai/grandma on one of my visits to see her at Chandra's home, In years to come when Amaya and Rocco look at the picture, they can proudly say they were fortunate to have met a beautiful soul who was 100 years old. How often that happens? We were all happy and thankful to have her for all these years. She has left a beautiful legacy filled with love, sharing, kindness and contentment to her family for them to cherish. May Aunty Coonty Beautiful Soul Rest In Eternal Peace. We will miss you.
Rena, Satesh, Lily, Amaya and Sabina, Stan and Rocco.
Winston and I sends our heartfelt condolences to the entire Balgobin/Jawahir family on the passing of Ma. It was a blessing and joy to have known her for all these years as family. RIP ma.
It is with great sadness that Neville and I express our sadness of Mom's passing. Mom became part of our lives in the Chatoor family circle when Hanan (Harry) and Chandra got married. That was many years ago. Mom was a remarkable and intelligent person. We admired Mom her for energy, kindness and enthusiasm for life. We have had many family and friend gatherings over the years with Mom. She was well respected by all and a great role model to us. Through the years we watch Mom help Chandra to raise and nurture Charles and Chris into the men they are today. Mom also help to care and nurture many other children and grandchildren with care and kindness. We were all blessed to have her for so many years in our lives. Mom Neville and I will miss you dearly. We are so sorry that you did not get that much anticipated birthday party you prepared for. We are also sorry you could not wake up to see your newest great grandchild. Neville and I would continue our close relationship with Chandra and the boys. We have no doubt that you will continue to stay busy watching and guiding us to be the best we could be. To all those grieving the loss of Mom, take comfort and cherish the memories and the stories she told us. Love and hugs to all. Neville, Fally and the Chatoor family.
