Condolences
Dear Bill, Dawn and Ed, Lori and Greg, Taryn, Cole,
Unfortunately we will not be able to attend Ruth's Celebration of Life but will be thinking of you as a most special friend is remembered and celebrated.
Ruth's smile lit up the room, especially when talking about her beloved "Billy", daughters and grandchildren. She was so very proud of you all.
Ruth was a mentor and example to us, living out her Christian faith daily. Her dedication to Lutheran Church of the Cross, especially the Splashed with Promise program and Wednesday morning Bible study group are remembered. As well as her Gingersnaps! Ruth always had a kind word for all. She seemed to know when someone needed a "pick me up" phone call or plate of baking to lift one's spirits. It is an honor to say she was our friend. She is missed!

Ruth always welcomed me wirh a warm smile and kind words. She was a great conversationalist and I very much enjoyed visits with her and Bill in their home and at Dawn and Ed's. She was a lovely, gracious lady and will be truly missed.

Ruth (MOM) will so be missed. She stepped into our lives as our "adopted mom" when our own passed in 2017. Even though we now live in the lower mainland (BC), our calls and visit to Bill/Ruth were full of laughter and joy!! Mom will be joining our own for the afternoon of tea and gossip. We will miss Mom !! Melody and Shauna Charlton (the adopted daughters)
