Condolences
I am so sorry for your lose of your Mom. I remember Aunt Rita having the living room full African Violets. She definitely had an amazing green thumb. She was beautiful woman.

We are deeply saddened with the passing of Aunt Rita. I will always remember her laugh. When I heard her laugh my heart overflowed with love. I remember her bright colorful clothes and her gentle spirit. Aunt Rita was always so kind, happy, gentle, and full of love. You will forever live in our hearts.
I always remember what a gentle and caring soul Auntie Rita was. I loved hearing stories about the birds and all of her beautiful animal stories and her amazing garden. A beautiful soul was called to Heaven. In this time of sorrow, know that your mother's bright light is there, looking down on you always. Thinking of you all with loving thoughts and our deepest sympathies!

I have only known Rita through stories told by Suzanne, often funny, of her Mom's indomitable, caring spirit. In reading this beautiful obituary I realise that I have met her many a time in Suzanne... and surely in Lee and Rob too. What a meaningful gift and legacy to be so seamlessly integrated into your children's lives, in how they see and navigate the world. My deepest condolences to your family, dear Suzanne. Much love-- and a warm smile in celebration of a life very well lived.
My earliest memories of Auntie Rita were of a Beautiful young woman; always a striking, fashionable lady.
In later years, when Auntie became an accomplished gardener, I will always remember a particular visit where
Andy and I were given an extensive ‘ Grand Tour’ of the entire yard, including her prized tomatoes.
During that visit, I was the recipient of many tips of the gardening trade. One in particular, I still practice
today. ‘ Don’t just pluck off the flower of spent petunias, but also pinch off the stem below it to ensure continuous blooms.’
I am sure Auntie has been enjoying all the gorgeous, brilliantly colored flowers in Heaven.
We will miss her dearly.
Our Deepest Sympathy to you, Lee, Suzanne and Rob.
May God grant you Peace and Tranquility as you navigate the difficult days ahead.
With Much Love and Prayers,
Delores and Andy Mahe
Always looked forward to your family coming for a visit to our farm and to Grandpa & Grandma Risling’s
place for get togethers. Mom always looked forward to seeing her sister. Was funny watching and listening to mom[Liz] and Aunt Rita start talking German & giggling off in the kitchen somewhere catching up. Always loved your mom’s black hair and smile. I remember Aunt Rita giving up this special little blue dress that her girls wore when my daughter was born in 1980. It was so pretty, Wendy wore it ALOT. That was 42 years ago.
Rest In Peace Auntie Rita
Our thoughts will be with you Lee, Suzanne & Robbie ❤️
