I was lucky enough to spend 2 summers living with the Fasick's, always felt like one of the family.
He was a gentleman in every sense of the word.

My condolences to the Fasick family. I remember Bill greeting me, still to this day when they were on 36 Street SE. His cheery welcome and warm greeting. I would go look at the bikes while my skates were getting sharpened. In the new location, when I did see him we would chat. He was a great man for over 40 years in his community. He will be missed but his memory will live on.

My condolences to the Fasick family, Bill and Pat hired me at the age of 12, I think it was 1975 and I will say that those two people made a difference in my life, they went from a little shop on 36 street in Forest lawn to the shop that they are now in on 52nd St. The good times and memories we had in there working on bicycles and selling hockey equipment Will never be forgotten. To Pat, Dorrie and Brent, I’m very sorry for your loss, you have a very genuine husband and father. He will Always be with you watching you from above, but unfortunately life has its twists and turns which we cannot predict and shows us how precious and fragile life really is. I know it is a sad time right now,But think of all the fun and jokes that Bill shared with us through the years and just maybe that will make you look up,smile and say, thank you Bill for the good times!.I am honored to have had the pleasure of meeting such a great human being not only for his dedication to his family but to the community and friends as well.
Sincerely!!!

We’re very sad to hear of Bill’s passing. This is a beautiful picture of him….exactly as we’ll always remember him. Many good memories over many years. Our hearts and prayers are with you,Pat and Dorrie and Brent and family..
Love ya Bill!!!!
There are not too many days since I started teaching that I don’t share a B&P story or lesson. You have had a profound impact on me as a man. I think it all started when my brother said he would try to get me a job at B&P. I came in and you ask me if I knew how to sweep. Lol. I remember giving it everything I could. By the end you said, “well…. you did a better goddam job than your brother, now go downstairs and see if you can organize the sticks!” I always took so much pride in the jobs you would ask me to do, as I always wanted to impress you. I remember finishing that 8 hour day and asking Troy, “did I get the job?” He said, “well Billy told you your stair sweeping was better than mine, so I think you’re good!” Working at B&P was some of the best years of my life.
I know my brother and I will always cherish our time with the Fasick family and the many customers we had the privilege of meeting.
Bill you will forever be in my heart. Brent, Dorrie, and Pat thank you for all you have done for me and my family and for sharing Bill with us all. Sending you hugs and prayers.
Rest easy Bill!
Dear Pat & Family, I just heard and saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. So many fond memories of our get-togethers for drinks or dinners and of course our many road trips to watch the boys play hockey either league games or tournaments, we covered a lot of territory. Thoughts and prayers are with you all and just know that Bill is now an Angel and watching over you in a different way.
