Condolences
July 11,196,-26 years ago Bunnie, Darlene and I began our trek on the West Coast Trail. Thank you Bunnie for inspiring me to do this hike, and convincing me I could do it despite my severe lack of experience in backpacking. Thank you for all the laughter, all the fun, and all the learnings .
It is kind of fitting that today we gathered to celebrate having you in our lives, and to send you on your way on this final hike. Take our love and everlasting gratitude for knowing you with you my dear friend. Forever in our hearts,
Lea Gould
Bunnie introduced me to hiking. She taught me hiking Ediquet plus how to use poles so I don’t injure myself. Also because of Bunnie I met so many wonderful hiking people. I will always remember her for her vibrant, enthusiasm and a great friend.
Dear Dennis and family,
I did not know Bunnie, but two years ago my husband died. So I feel I can relate to your loss.
Dennis and I worked together many years ago as Visiting Teachers.
My heart goes out to all of you, and you are in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Kathy [ Wihnan ] Forrington
Marilyn and I are saddened by your loss. Many years ago while in Calgary we recall good visits and laughs with you through mutual friends (DH). We fondly remember those times and Bunnie's great smile.
We send our sincere condolences.

Dennis, I was sorry this morning to read of Bunnie’s passing. While we were not close friends she has always been a concrete confirmation of God’s promise in Hebrews 13: 5-6 “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” In a very difficult time for me in the summer of 1982 she came to my door with much needed groceries, an act of kindness I have never forgotten. You are in my thoughts and prayers today.

Dennis and family,
Bunnie was a joy to know. Our many Friday night get togethers were a shared time of friendship and laughter.
Thinking of you in sympathy,
Fondly, Barney and family.
Denny, on behalf of the Rozsa family, I send our sincere condolences. Lorraine (Bunnie) was always so steady, caring and efficient in her work. I know Dad really depended on her friendly face at the front door, She was always quick with a smile and demonstrated strong family values. Her life made a difference and she will be missed. Blessings in this this very sad time. Mary
I have a strong connection from my past with both Dennis and Bunnie. Dennis was my amazing Phys Ed teacher at Nickle Junior High when it first opened; and then when I started as a teller at TD Bank Lake Bonavista, Bunnie was the person who trained me and watched out for me. Wonderful people who left a lasting impression on me. My condolences and love to Dennis and family.

Dennis, My sister Millicent and I (Terry Mogck) send our condolences.
Dennis, my deepest condolences to your family. Lorraine was one of my hiking buddies and we had such a great time, she will be missed.
Dear Dennie, Lorri, Tyree and Family,
Where deep and long-lasting friendships exist, life is the richer for it, sometimes experienced in hilarious laughter, other times in deep sorrow and in many little things in between. That's how it has been for the Laings and the McCrackins for 50 years or more. We have loved and been loved by Bunnie and will hold those memories in our hearts even as we uphold all of you in our prayers.
Love,
Rolly and Pam Laing and Family
Denny my sincere condolences and prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time in life. Lorraine always had a big smile and such a positive attitude when on the hiking trails. I will miss her charm. Rest in Peace, Lorraine!

Bunnie will be so missed by all who knew her. I was always inspired by her positive attitude and her strength of character.
I really wanted to walk the West Coast Trail with her, Lorri and Melissa but it was not to be ... love to you all from all the YK Baylys.
I worked with Lorraine for a number of years in the oil and gas field. She was always such a ray of sunshine every day, going around and seeing how everyone was doing. She will truly be missed!!
I’ve known Bunnie for just one year. We would walk together twice a week and Bunnie always had the best stories and memories to share. Everything from how it was growing up for her, or sharing stories from when her kids were growing up, or the latest competition or meet of one her grandchildren. Bunnie was most engaged and excited when her grandkids would come for a visit. She would brag about all of them. On our walks she would often joke about bringing home all the dogs we would meet, not the big ones though. Our last day together we walked inside because of the rain and we talked about how everyone even her brother had come for a visit in the last 6-8 weeks. She was so pleased with that. I am so broken hearted that Bunnie was called home to heaven, but I grieve with the hope that I know I will see her again. Dennis and family, you have my deepest condolences, I lift you all up in prayer.

Take care of each other
