Obituary of Kenneth (Ken) Bremner

July 4, 1930 - July 7, 2022

Ken Bremner of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the age of 92 years.

Ken was born, raised and lived his entire life in Calgary. He spent the majority of his career working for the City of Calgary Engineering Department as a field inspector. Ken was an enthusiastic and dedicated volunteer for many years with the YMCA Y’s Men’s Club, hosting annual fund-raising garage sales and travelling to support their events.

Ken is survived by his sister-in-law Caroline; and four nephews, Tim, Terry, Al (Shawn) and Peter, all in British Columbia where he would go every summer to help them on the blueberry farm. At Ken’s request, there will be no funeral service. He will be interred at Queens Park Cemetery. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
