Condolences
Uncle Harry was a kind and gentle man, always looking out for everyone else. He was always very attentive to looking after his parents or spoiling his nieces and nephews.
Sending my love and sympathies to Uncle Dave and family, Uncle Harry will be missed. He was a kind and loving person, I have some wonderful childhood memories from summers spent with Grandma. Harry would take time to play with me and take me to the park, the zoo or just for ice cream. He was responsible for my very large collection of baseball and hockey cards! One of my favourite funny things he always let me do was push all the buttons when we rode down in the elevator. Rest in peace uncle, thanks for the special memories ❤️.
One of my favorite memories: Many years ago, we were at a Vermeulen gathering somewhere downtown Winnipeg. I had to be 10 or 11. Harry could tell my older brother and I were bored to tears. He smuggled us out of there, down the elevator, then across the street. Down a set of stairs to a double door that opened into A HUGE ARCADE! He gave us each about $10 worth of quarters (a fortune) and we had a blast. It was like a dream. While I hadn't seen Harry in a number of years, I think of him often and will remember him with great fondness. Thanks Uncle Harry.
My condolences to Harry’s family. Harry was a great man who will be missed by all who knew him. I can hear Harry’s laughter and him calling me Little One, while teasing me. Harry taught me some work lessons that I still use everyday. He was a co-worker, friend and mostly work family. Rest In Peace Harry, until we meet again.
Harry's passing makes us very sad. The last time we spoke with Harry there was no hint that this was going to happen. Harry was not only a valued member of my security team at Great West Life but was my Mentor as well. Additionally he was a very special friend and I will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace back in Jan's arms.
