Condolences
To the family, my sympathies on Gordon's passing. He was my first supervisor when I joined Cominco in Calgary. He was a good mentor - especially when it came to negotiating with the government.
God Bless

Dear Nancy and Family:
My deepest condolences to all of you on Gordon's passing. Although we only met in person once (at my family's cabin near Priddis), it was always nice to see him on our Pulmonary Fibrosis Zoom meetings. He was a lovely man and I'm very sorry for your loss. I had hoped to attend his service in person but unfortunately cannot be there, so I will watch the service on-line.
Sincerely,
Patricia Meadows (fellow PF patient)

Gordon was more like an older brother to Garnet and me. We grieve his loss (to us and to you). Thank you for being such a good wife to him, Nancy. You were a good travelling partner also for him. When God takes a loved one, it seems a piece of us goes with them. Our prayers are with you as your hearts are broken.

So sorry, Nancy and Family, to hear of your loss. May you be comforted in the many joyful memories of Gord and his great love of life.
At work Gord was the ultimate Task-Master. Delivering on commitments and accountability were expected but also greatly appreciated and acknowledged by Gord. He was always very cheerful, kind and generous in his dealings with me. I will remember him as a person of integrity who could balance accomplishment with compassion. May God bless his soul.

Our warmest thoughts and condolences. We will always remember Gord as the very resourceful multi talented guy with a very balanced view of life and the corporate world. His wisdom combined with his keen sense of humour and that impish smile carried many stressful situations to a better outcome. It was great working along side him! We had some great times with you both - still remember the hot tub evening overlooking "Whoville"!
Iris and I are very sorry to hear of Gords passing.I was privileged to work with him at Agrium as he was one of the 4 Horsemen in the Wholesale team.He was allways available to provide his experience which was much appreciated.
We also have many happy memories of our social interactions with Gord and Nancy .
He was a great guy.

Dear Nancy, Paul, Debbie, and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Gordon. Summers spent out West always included a stop in Calgary, Canmore, or a visit with the Whithams at the lake house on Bluebird Rd. I always appreciated Uncle Gordan's wit, playfulness, wisdom, and generosity. And, he was the only one who got away with teasing my Oma which I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Several years ago, when I was in Calgary looking after my maternal grandmother Pat in her final months, Nancy and Gordon came over to "take care of me", a kindness I will always remember. Uncle Gordon will be missed and I will hold dear the many memories I have of him. Praying for comfort as you grieve and manage preparations to honour his life.
