Obituary of Mary Eileen McRoberts

March 8, 1925 – Weston, Ontario

August 21, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

After a long and happy life, Mary McRoberts of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the age of 97 years.

Mary was married to the love of her life, James McRoberts, for over 50 years. They had a beautiful family together and enjoyed watching them grow. You wouldn’t often find Mary without her knitting needles as she loved to knit for all of those who were lucky enough to receive her works of art.

Mary is survived by her daughter Deborah Milner and her children Marianne (Robbie) Butchart and Ashley (Dustin) Elie; and great-grandchildren, Ty, Joey, Tyce, and Emma. Mary is also survived by her son Richard (Gayle) McRoberts, and their children Kellen (Aleyschia) McRoberts, and Karissa (Brian) McNamara; and great-grandchildren, Harrison, Lennon, Susie, Richard, Clare, Amelia, and Madeline. Mary was loved and will be deeply missed by her family.

Mary was predeceased by her parents William and Mary Dresser; and her husband Alexander James McRoberts.

Funeral Services will be held at First Alliance Church, Harvest Room (12345 – 40^th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 am with reception to follow.  Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
