Condolences
Vi's lost is felt. She typed my university paper when I did not have time, but she made time and for others. Even letting me babysit her children. My own mother passed this year, also living a long and fulfilling life. We were lucky to have them.
To the memory of Vi Glidden
I have very fond memories of Vi over the years. Vi and my Mom (Doris Reid) were life long friends and our families spent many happy times together. I always enjoyed hearing about her many travel adventures and was inspired by her desire to see the world on her own or with friends. We send our deepest condolences to Earl, Barry & Jane and their families. Vi will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

To the memory of Vi Glidden,
Vi was a very industrious lady both in her private and public life. Many times I enjoyed singing and chatting with her at St. David's United Church choir. Making music was one of her biggest enjoyments. Spending time at one of her home-cooked meals was a real delight and enjoying the conversation of all the history of St. David's over her tenure there. Church trips were always very pleasant with Vi there. She seemed very understanding of Douglas Hales' criticism of any choir members mistakes. Lots of people at the church knew Vi and accepted her company.
May your journey, Vi, be all that you wished for and I'm sure you are keeping all your fellow men/ women on the straight and narrow path ahead. God Bless.
George Setterington
Vi was a very kind and caring soul; always interested in the welfare of others from her family to her church family to the broader community as well. She had an interest in current affairs, a sense of humour and a twinkle in her eye. She will be missed. Ruth and Alan Ford
