Obituary of Mary Gallagher (nee McGinley)

Mary Gallagher, beloved wife of Edward Gallagher of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the age of 86 years.
Mary was born on January 28, 1936, in Glasgow, Scotland. She and Edward married in 1959. And in year 1980, they both moved to Calgary, AB. Mary accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of seeing her three children go through university. She enjoyed sewing, reading and travel. Her most memorable trip was when she and Edward made the journey to Lourdes (holy site) in France.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Edward and Andrew, two daughters-in-law, Teri and Amber, and two grandchildren, Abby and Liam all of Calgary, AB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Edward and her daughter Marie.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church (5504 – 20th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall at St. James Catholic Church.
