Obituary of Levi Ferlin Lefthand
December 7, 1979 – September 20, 2022
Edmonton, Alberta
It is with great sadness, we announce the Creator has peacefully called home our beloved angel Levi Lefthand, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the age of 42 years.
He is survived by his loving children, Zemiya and Elijah; his common-law-spouse, Melissa Chiniquay; mother Rondi; siblings, Lonny, Lorinda (Ted), Lisa, Sophia, Diana, and Niki; uncle Kevin Lefthand (“Nanun” Kathy); aunties, Georgina and Julie Lefthand; and numerous relatives including uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
After years of diverse health challenges, Levi is now at peace with his loving dad Ferlin Lefthand, his paternal grandparents, Ivy Lefthand and Johnny Poucette; paternal uncles, Clayton and Mitch Lefthand; and maternal grandmother, Elsie Mclean. Levi was a loving father, partner, brother, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed singing on the powwow trail, watching sports, and he had a great sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by all who dearly loved him.
The family would like to thank all the health professionals, who took care of him throughout his health battles.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Melissa Chiniquay (Morley, AB) on Friday, September 23, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
