Obituary of Verna Eileen Code

Verna Code of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the age of 83 years.
Verna was born in Stettler, AB on August 9, 1939, she moved to Calgary, AB in 1967. Verna was happily married to Allan B. Code since 1962. Verna loved going to National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas with her husband Allan. She was a volunteered at Mayfair Nursing home for 25 years. Verna accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of being a mother. She loved animals, camping and the farm she grew up on.
Verna is survived by her son, Daniel Code of Calgary, AB; and her brother, Ken Repchin (Linda) of Stettler, AB. She is also survived by Sheldon Code (Verna May) and Barbara McKay. Verna was predeceased by her husband, Allan Code.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
