Condolences
Dear Irene, Daren and Family,
I can't begin to express how shocked I was to hear of Grant's passing. After seeing you in August, receiving emails from him in September, I assumed the positive.
Like many others, we first met in Swift Current and never lost track. It seemed as though we were able to pick up from where we left off whenever we met again! While the visits were fleeting, they were important to Chris and me. Grant and you are woven tightly into the tapestry of our lives!
I am thankful we had your friendship: for the humour, for the clarity of thought, for the concern of family, fortune, and future. Grant will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Love from Lynne

Dear Irene and Family,
I didn’t really know “Irene’s secretary” well but always enjoyed his phone conversations while we waited for Irene to talk.
I also know how very much he was loved and that he will be missed by all who loved him.
Please try to remember all the good times and use those memories in your healing process.
With love
Carol Fowler
I have been thinking of you all this week, knowing the sadness that will be growing for you and all your family. Grant's passing does not quite seem real as he was always such a presence whenever we were with him, from his engaging smile, huge knowledge about the stock market and always a wise word for us all. I will remember him with a chuckle, thinking of the clever witticisms he seemed to come up with at such appropriate times.
He was a good one!
We are so sorry to hear of Grants passing Irene. We have many fun memories of our Swift Current/Drayton Valley days. Sending love to you, Darren and your family.
Our sympathy is with you, Irene and Darren, as you deal with your great loss. There will be a huge hole in your lives for some time, forever, I guess.
My favourite memory is Grant’s answering words:
IRENE CAMPBELL’S SECRETARY
I will miss hearing that line.
All our friendship and love go out to you,
Carolyn Matiisen
My heart goes out with deepest condolence to Irene,,and family at this most difficult time .
I will always think of Grant, his stories ,his wry sense of humour and his cheerful , AND strong ‘hello ’ when he answered the phone.
I will let that voice of his resonate within my heart as I hope his family and friends do at this difficult time to cheer us in their and our loss . Geri McLean
