Obituary of Margaret Dee Kinzer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Margaret Dee Kinzer (nee Scott) on November 28, 2022 at the age of 82 years.

Margaret was born on December 18, 1939 in High River, AB and grew up in Mercury near Longview and Turner Valley. In the late 50’s, she moved to Edmonton where she worked at Hector Steel, where she met and married Robert (Bob) Kinzer. While raising their three children, Margaret became a respected Professional Receptionist, working at Cavalier Realty, Sherwood Park Chamber and later for Westar Petroleum in Calgary. Margaret loved hockey and ensured you knew that she cheered for the Edmonton Oilers.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother Gordon Scott; her son Robert Kinzer; daughters, Teresa (David) Gnapp, Rhonda (Jacques) Dupuis; five grandsons; two great-grand daughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bob, brother George and sisters, June, Irene, Marie, Maxine and Patricia.
