Condolences
Hi Janet, I am so sorry to hear of Rob's passing. Although it has been years since I have seen him I still have fond memories of the fun Chris and I had when we all got together back in the days working at Mark Resources. He always made work a fun place to be. May you always have the special memories close to your heart. My deepest condolences to you and you family.

Sorry to hear of Robert's passing. I will always remember his "sunny disposition" no matter what his symptoms stood in his way . You were always very loving caring and supportive of him. So glad to have known you two. Sally Lim RN
So sorry to hear of Rob’s passing. We worked together at Renaissance/Husky. I always appreciated Rob’s integrity and ability to make the workplace a fun place to be. Rob was respected by all that knew him and he will be missed.
My condolences go out to the entire family, although I never personally knew you ,I felt like I did due to all the stories Rob would share with me. I first meet Rob during the Renaissance and Pinnacle merger and we worked together until his Husky departure. I will always hold those days as fond memories.
My deepest sympathy to you all. Rob was my first boss when I moved to Calgary and was influential in shaping my career in O & G. I will cherish those memories.
Janet, Connor, Sarah and the rest of the family - I had the pleasure of working with Rob at Pinnacle, Renaissance & Husky he was a great manager, mentor and friend. He made work so much fun that I would look forward to going to work. My condolences to you and the family. Rob - you will missed and always thinking of you. Rest in Peace!
My deepest heartfelt condolences to the whole Garden family. Rob was one of the big brothers that helped to shape my formative years as his younger sister Karen and I tried to maneuver our way through high school. Rob's advice to join all clubs, teams and activities in order to get the full high school experience was taken seriously and fortunately after an extremely exhausting first year we caught on to the fact that Robbie himself hadn't belonged to any of these clubs and that once again we had been tricked by the master! As one of the many "little sisters" to brothers Robbie's age, please know that you meant more to us than ever said and you will be missed more than we could ever express. ❤️
I am very sorry to hear of Rob's passing. He was my first boss at my first *real* job right after college around 1999, and now that I'm much older can say he is the best boss I have ever had. He was very good at recognizing the team's strengths and how to motivate people to get the work done while still making work enjoyable.
We had lots of fun in Joint Venture accounting mostly thanks to Rob. One thing I remember about him is that for more than a year before his 40th birthday he somehow managed to only be 38 on the next birthday so that on his actual 40th birthday, everyone thought he was only 39. Being the boss, turning 40 would have been a big party, but he didn't want the attention. The next year he told us that he was actually 41 and provided proof. No one could believe that he managed to skip turning 40.
He would often talk about coaching his son's hockey team and he was so proud of his son's first hat trick. He would also talk about his little girl and the funny things she would say. I hope your family feels peace and comfort in the coming days and weeks.
Janet, Connor and Sarah - I was very saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Rob. I met Rob back in my auditing days when Pinnacle Resources was one of my clients and I eventually came to join the team at Pinnacle as an employee. Rob was always a "larger than life" personality in the office with his humor, his antics and his willingness to teach and assist people in his circle to grow (he was influential in my early career days), but nothing could compare to the price and love that he exhibited for his family and the accomplishments of his children. He will be sadly missed. My deepest condolences to the entire family!
I'm very sorry to hear about Rob's passing. He was a great guy and a kind soul!! My deepest condolences to Rob's family
I am so very sorry for your loss. Rob was an amazing, kind human. I had the pleasure of working for Rob and he was the best boss. Working for him is a time I have often looked back on with fondness. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear this news. My condolences to Janet, Connor and Sarah and the rest of the family. I worked with Rob way back in the day starting at Pinnacle Resources and he along with myself and Jay Smith started the inaugural Flat Bellies Classic, our annual fall golf trip to Idaho and Washington that continued on for over 20 years. Many great memories of that annual road trip with Rob and the gang. We even had a putt named after him and his name gets invoked to this day on many a green. You will be missed Robbie.
Janet, Connor and Sarah - I worked with Rob at Pinnacle and he was the most nicest, funniest, helpful guy. I’m so sorry to hear about his passing and please accept my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May Rob Rest In Peace. Love you Rob!
To Rob's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working for Rob and he was the best boss :) He trusted us to get our jobs done and allowed us to have fun while doing it! It is a time I have often looked back with fondness. He always talked about how proud he was of his children and I know he will missed dearly.
Janet, Connor and Sarah - so very sad to hear of your recent loss. Rob touched the lives of many with his greatness, kindness and zest for life. He leaves a huge void that will be felt forever, he lived a full life with many special memories, and lives on in your hearts.
Janet, Connor & Sarah - I am so very sorry to hear that you have lost Rob. He was always so kind and ready to help anyone out who needed a hand. He will be so terribly missed by everyone ....
I am so sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences to Rob's family. He was a great person, a great leader, always encouraging all of us to do better, believing in us. He was funny always playing pranks. He knew I didn't and still don't like bananas and he would always bring a banana for a snack and then he would hide the peel somewhere in my office and I would go crazy trying to find it, he thought it was so funny watching me look for it. He will certainly be missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him. Rest in peace Mr. Garden.
My sincere condolences to you Janet and your family. I am so sorry to hear about your dear Rob, may he rest in peace.
