Obituary of Peggy Cotsworth (nee MacQuarrie)
March 11, 1927 – December 29, 2022
Jean Margaret “Peggie” Cotsworth, beloved and devoted wife to James (Bern) Cotsworth, who pre-deceased her in 2010, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, surrounded by love and the music she shared with her Bernie.
Peggie is survived by her devoted nieces, Nancy, Maureen, Rosemary, Barbara, Sharon and Susan; and her nephews, John, Richard, and Allan; and their respective families.
Peggie was a long-term member of the Glencoe Club and Calgary Golf and Country Club. She made many friends through golf and curling as well as through Bern’s colleagues in the oil and gas industry. Additionally, she made many friends through her love of fashion, style, and entertaining.
She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.
The family is very grateful to her loving caregivers, Elwira, Loreta, and Beth, her constant and compassionate companions in the later years of her life.
