Condolences
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. I knew Sheila from the Calgary Sketch Club and really enjoyed talking with her. She was funny, vibrant and talented. I loved her spirit and I remember thinking that I wanted to be like her as I roll into my senior years. Please accept my condolences.

Sheila was such a special lady! Her kindness, her laughter, and her excellent counsel was such a blessing for those of us who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her over the years.

Brinsmead Children, Grandchildren & Great grandchildren-
Sheila - for me she was a great friend & an inspiring mentor. I learned so much from her about how to live as a compassionate woman in a challenging male environment.
Sheila always made me laugh. She encouraged me to forge ahead by sharing so many of her own experiences as wife, mother, employee, & Christian woman.
I loved her paintings; her delicate soul shone through her beautiful art.
I close my eyes and can see her - chasing her crazy cat who climbed walls & did surprise attacks! the turkey locked in an oven that Sheila could not get unlocked! the 7 (or was it 9) times she kept missing the entrance to the McDonald Hotel in Edmonton where we were going for a weekend RCIA conference- having to keep going over the bridge to get back and both of us laughing hysterically !
My friend - heaven will be a much more fun place and beautiful environment with you there.
I am deeply saddened to hear of Sheila’s passing. Her larger than life personality, smile and the twinkle in her eye were noticed all the time, but especially at mealtime when the giggles were known to strike. She will be dearly missed.

Doug and I will always hold our memories of Sheila and Gil very close to our hearts. All the smiles and laughter shared with Sheila. She was a classy and classic lady. I treasure her painting which takes a place of honor in our home. She would have been so happy to embrace her beloved Gil again. Rest in peace dear friend.
