Condolences
I'm so sorry to hear of Opal passing away. My deepest condolences to her family. My name is Donna Meier ( Torgerson) oldest daughter of Melvin & Elsie Torgerson, 1st cousin to Opal. Opal was my maid of honor at my wedding and shortly after that we didn't get to see each other much. But I always admired her and loved her laugh and sense of humor. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Donna Meier
Auntie Opal was a beautiful, fun loving, kind hearted woman and mother. I’ll always remember how loving and gentle she was with her children and every animal she encountered.
Auntie Opal was very close friends with my mother, and they loved to talk for hours and laugh, it warms my heart to know they are peacefully reunited and probably sitting somewhere beautiful with the sun in their face, and a dog in their lap.. laughing and catching up.
I’m sending so much love to my family as they navigate this loss. May you find peace and comfort at this time.
Love doesn’t go anywhere.. it just changes form.
Sincerest condolences to Opal's family and friends. Opal and I both worked at Datap Systems in Calgary from about 1990 to 1995. She was a kind, warm hearted person, considerate of everyone and professional in her work. She was taken much too early.

Opal was one of the kindest-hearted people I’ve met. She was a gentle soul who loved deeply, both people and animals.
I will be forever grateful for her and Aaron’s support after my mom, Sandra Tymkiw (Opal’s ex-sister-in-law), passed away. Their assistance was much appreciated at such a difficult time and I will not forget their willingness to help me.
Opal was best friends with Sandra, and they enjoyed many conversations and musings about anything and everything.
I picture the two of them reunited and delighting in each other’s company once again. This makes me smile.
Sending all my love and support to Opal’s family at this time.
With love,
Sylvia Wright
