Condolences
To Amy's parents, brothers, and extended family, I send my sincere, heartfelt condolences to you. I worked with Amy in the Chemistry Department and trained her to use our NMR instruments back in May of 2018 when she was a summer student. Please know that our Chemistry 'family' followed Amy's story so closely everyday. I personally prayed for Amy countless times and could not stop thinking of her, hoping and praying for a positive outcome. Please know our 'work family' remembers Amy and her positive, energetic spirit that she brought to us. She volunteered at the Chemistry School of Magic in Kensington and her dedication to championing and celebrating chemistry with the broader community was evident. Thank you for sharing Amy's poem with us. I am not surprised to learn that Amy had an entire list of talents outside of Chemistry. I am praying for peace for all of you and sending love and support. Sincerely, Michelle

Meeting Amy and her family was at the time of her pre-school days. My recollection of Amy was that of a strong willed spirited little girly ,whom I knew , would capture the hearts of many. The beautifully written tribute confirms that and more .

Our sincere condolences to the whole family.
We were lucky enough to get to know Amy on our semester abroad and spend a wonderful and precious time with her. Amy was to us a lively person who enjoyed the little things and covered everything with her overflowing creativity. She was a very caring and engaged friend for us, took us to see the beautiful Canadian nature which wouldn’t have been possible without her and she made us fall in love with the country even more. Her unconditional trust and friendliness was always very inspiring and we couldn’t have been more thankful to even participate in a family party and to get to know her home and beloved ones.
This is why the devastating news of her passing were more than hard to realise. She will always be our beloved friend and the beautiful memories of her will be kept in our hearts forever. We already miss her so much and our thoughts are with her kind family.

Eileen, Bernie, David, and Steven, please know that you have all been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Amy was a blessing to anyone who knew her. I was so privileged to know her through her high school years, and my memories of her will be with me all my life. Amy always carried with her kindness, gentleness, curiosity, good humour, and compassion. She only ever had kind things to say about everyone and I never once heard an unkind word about her. Her love of people, art, nature, and humour was infectious. It was impossible to be in a poor mood when Amy was near you. I feel so deeply blessed that I was able to know her, and she will remain in my thoughts and in my heart forever. She was an extraordinary gem, and despite her own brilliance, she always let others shine around her. Amy made the world a better place. My love and deepest condolences go to you all.
Our deepest sympathies to Amy's family at this time of deep sorrow . God bless her and all those who searched for her .
Our deepest sympathies and prayers to the Fahlman families on the passing of Amy. We did not know Amy but our heart aches for her loved ones. May she rest in peace.

I have so many beautiful memories of Amy, and I am so thankful to have had such an incredible person in my life. Though we drifted apart after high school, Amy was a dear friend, a beautiful, warm person who was always so happy, caring, and intelligent, and an amazing artist. I may have been a year older than her in school, but that didn’t stop us from forming a friendship, or eating our lunches together with our friends. She, and our group of friends, were the light of my life back then, and it always brought me joy to see how wonderful she was doing, the art she was making, or all her amazing accomplishments on social media. I can still hear Amy’s laugh, always so infectious and distinctive, and I fondly remember all of our adventures and misadventures. She is so missed, and so so so loved. My sincere condolences to Amy’s whole family, and all her friends and colleagues.
We didn’t know Amy, but our hearts are deeply touched. Our sincere condolences.
We just live up the road in Hamptons.
