Condolences
My sincere sympathy for the loss of Sister Darlene Madore whom I have know and loved as my spiritual director. May she rest in the joy of the Lord. Jeannine Coulombe sgm
Having spent time at the FCJ Centre, I came to know her caring way, her smiles and devotion to our God. She was always happy to see you. May she now rest in God’s Presence.

Jim and I consider it a privilege to have known and shared time on this earth with Sr Darlene.
We loved her sense of humour and her vast knowledge of Scripture which she so happily shared
with those fortunate to participate in her classes. She was gracious, hospitable, and grateful for the smallest
of favours. Blessed be her memory among us! The peace of the Lord be with you all.

I grew to appreciate, respect and love Sr. Darlene over the years that taught scripture in the TEAM program and in my parish. I loved her scripture jokes! She was a beautiful person and a brilliant scholar. Rest well in the arms of God.
Sr. Darlene opened up the beauty and mystery of God’s Word to me and so many others. May God bless her, forgive her sins, and grant her everlasting life as the angels lead her into paradise, singing all the way. Her life was a blessing.

Your FCJ Sisters in Australia send their prayer and condolences at this time of the death of Darlene. She has always been young at heart, so willing to share her immense knowledge and deep spirituality. I personally had the privilege of partaking in a workshop she gave to FCJ Tertians on the women Mystics' and this was far before such a topic became usual! Any time one would meet Darlene, she was welcoming, joyful, cheerful and full of hope and gratitude. You will miss her, dear sisters! May she rest now in peace.

I remember Sister Darlene's extensive knowledge of the bible and was fortunate enough to have been the beneficiary of her teachings while I was a member of T.E.A.M. Her dedication to teaching scripture was an immense contribution to the Catholic community. Her kind and gracious manner will surely be missed. Rest in Peace Sister Darlene.
I remember fondly sister Darlene from my first retreat to The FCJ center in Calgary. Sister Darlene was the first one to greet me to the center with her very kind and gracious personality.
Over the years I had the opportunity to chat with her whenever I was at the FcJ center. Then again in 2022 when I was at the Providence Care Center.. providing some music.. did I see her there , much to my surprise. Her memory had diminished at that time, but It still was nice to see her.. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this difficult time.. she was a kind soul and will be missed..
While we lived in Calgary Sr. Darlene was our Spiritual Director, guiding us along the way, listening to us so attentively, understanding us, encouraging us, challenging us and she had a wonderful sense of humour. Thank-you Darlene for your Wisdom over the years. Jo and Pat Lenon
