Uncle Bob regularly visited us on the trips he made out to our area of Saskatchewan. We never knew ahead of time that he was coming - he just showed up! He shared a birthdate with my husband and always beat us to the phone call on July 14th. Upon receiving our Christmas letter and card, he’d phone for a chat. He will be remembered for his amazing memory of people, dates, and places. His story telling was most entertaining. He was very hospitable when we and other members of our family visited him in Calgary. He will be missed, but fondly remembered.
