Condolences
Peggy and I are deeply saddened to hear of Greg’s passing. He certainly lived a full and active life and leaves behind numerous achievements and a multitude of friends and colleagues. Peggy had the privilege of working with him during his time as MLA for the Banff Cochrane constituency in Alberta. And he was an avid supporter of the 1982 Canadian Mount Everest Expedition, which put two Canadians on top of the world for the first time.
A magnificent life! Long remembered! We were lucky to know him! Condolences to the family!
John & Peggy Amatt
My wife, Anna, and I first met Pat and Greg at a party held in their Home, Ocean Villa, in 1995. Standing on their balcony enjoying a drink a gal there heard someone say my name and turned asking, “are you Joey Brown?” The Gal was a classmate of my sister in the VGH School of Nursing back in the mid fifties… small world! This was the start of a 28 year friendship among, what I liked to call the “Happy Ten”. We brought in many New Years together but sadly, we are now down to just one couple out of the five. . We have greatly missed Pat and Greg since they left Sidney but have managed to stay in touch by FaceTime and in-person visits. BLESS YOU DEAR GREG, we’ll see you soon when we will be all joined together again.
Joe Brown, Sidney, B.C.
