Condolences
Oh Linda you were such a influence in my life as I grew up. I loved when we would come to visit at Auntie Eileen and Uncle Norm's. Loved things we did together and you doing my makeup when I got married. Hoping to hear from Roy am on Facebook if he can message me so I can send him my cell number. Prayers and love to all. Leanne(Jordan) Sykes
Linda and I were childhood friends, and she was the best friend I could have had. We did so many things together, and I often think of the times I visited in her parents home on 36B street. The lovely 'afternoon teas' we shared and the crazy conversations. After our school years we didn't keep in touch very often, but whenever we were together it was as if we had seen each other only the week before. Time didn't matter, our friendship was always there and just as strong. I will miss her happy voice and not being able to visit with Linda in person. Those memories will never be erased. I will miss you Linda.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Linda's family who meant so much to her for all their love and support. She was a gem and my friendship with her will be treasured forever. That friendship found its beginning with both of us becoming new members of Executive Women International - Calgary Chapter. Dorothy Kwong was instrumental in getting the two of us together since we both had recently lost our fathers. From there on, we spent many years socializing and went for many country drives along the Cowboy Trail admiring the amazing scenery. If we were lucky, we'd see a real cowboy on horseback! Farewell my friend and be at peace. Elaine
