Obituary of Mary Patricia Baird

Pat Baird beloved wife of Duncan, and mother of two sons, Jason (Lynette), and Kevin (Carolyn), of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the age of 78. Pat was born in Kitchener, Ontario on September 22, 1945.

She was married to Duncan for 53 years and was the proud grandmother of Nathan, Clara, Connor, and Owen. Pat was passionate about her family, long drives in the country, reading a good book or magazine, funny jokes, and watching news, documentaries, and sports on TV, along with attending her son’s and grandchildren’s sports. Pat was also a loyal mother of two Golden retrievers, Malak and Rosco, and a cat named Kojak.

She was predeceased by her brother Peter Fenton and her parents James Fenton and Mary Kidner (nee Hurley).

Pat is survived by her sister Janet (Gary) Durno of Toronto, ON.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
