Funeral Mass
Obituary of Robert Patrick Dudder
December 6, 1937 - Calgary, Alberta
October 30, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta
Bob passed away peacefully at home on October 30th surrounded by his family. We are comforted knowing this was a life well-lived. His honesty and integrity inspired us to be better people.
Bob was born and raised in Calgary in a family of seven. He attended St Mary’s High School where he met his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Sharon.
He worked as a computer manager with Petrofina and eventually started his own accounting practice. Over the years he was very generous with his time and skills to help others. A lovely man full of kindness.
Bob was strong in the Catholic faith. He had a clever sense of humour, loved to travel, but he will be remembered mostly for his dedication to family. We are proud and honoured to have had him as a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
Bob is survived by his wife Sharon (nee Petrunia); children; Lee (Ron), David (Monica), Jill (Guillermo), and James (Annie); grandchildren, Jeff (Alexandra), George (Kimberly), Annika, Patrick Kami, Levi, Aiden, Cam and Ana; and great-grandchild, Kieran. His sisters, Judy (Lionel-dec) and Carol (Edd), including numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Lori; his parents, Lena and Everett Dudder; brothers, Donald and James Dudder; nephew, Tony Blomme; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Joyce Petrunia; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Zola Petrunia.
