Obituary of Gerry Lee WEEKS

February 7, 1983 – Calgary, Alberta June 16, 2018- Lake Cowichan, Vancouver Island It is with sad and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Gerry on Saturday, June 16, 2018. Growing up in Sackville N.B, he was a member of Air Cadets 561 Tantramar Squadron ranking as a drill sergeant. He enjoyed swimming, baseball, hockey, guitar, playing music, and loved to cook. He was a certified explosive expert and a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 725. Gerry cherished his time with his beloved son Jack. They enjoyed playing sports, building LEGO, G.I. Joe, and especially loved reading children’s books by Robert Munsch and Dr. Seus. He is survived by parents Paul R. Weeks and Sharon Beaudin; his beautiful and loving son Jack; a dear brother Jason; a special nephew Justin; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from coast to coast. Gerry will be always be remembered as being gentle, kind, and cared for many. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Graveside Service to follow at a later date at Pine Grove Cemetery, in Loggieville , New Brunswick. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
