Condolences
With heartfelt sympathy to the Craig family. Mrs. Craig was a very special woman who created a beautiful family, and home and a community. So fortunate to have her, Mr. Craig, Colleen and my dearest friend Jane in our lives. So many stories and special memories of the days on Uplands Place and after. Thinking of Mike, Lyndsey, Lauren and their spouses. With love, Marianne, Paul and Mallory
One of the last memories I have of Aunt Lorraine is her dancing away with Uncle David at a family wedding in Kamloops in 2019. We sat at the same table that evening and we had so much fun sharing stories and laughs. My first memory of Aunt Lorraine is in August 1990 in Vancouver. David and I had just arrived in Canada and we were staying temporarily at Aunt Betty’s place. Uncle Dave and Aunt Lorraine were visiting and stayed at Aunt Betty’s for a week or so. I was meeting them for the first time and remember with fondness how welcoming they were to me, their new niece-in-law. One of the days I noticed Aunt Lorraine knitting something; on their last day in Vancouver I found out what she was knitting when she presented me with a lovely light blue toque. “To keep you warm in the winter ahead!” she said.
Rest in peace, dear Aunt Lorraine… I will always remember you, your generosity and kindness.
