Condolences
I am one of the staff who cared for Rob at the Southwood hospice. He was a kind, gentle soul with a wicked sense of humor. He is still missed. My Miniature Schnauzer loved to visit him and would happily sit for as long as Rob would allow it. It was also a pleasure to care for the family. I hope they are finding some gentle days and peace. I wish them all the best.
I took care of Rob during his stay at Southwood. He was always so lovely to everyone he came to meet. He always had a kind word, a smile, and some very snazzy shirts and sweaters! He was an absolute joy to take care of, and he is still very much missed.
I had the great pleasure to meet rob at Costco. from the first time shopping rob was the best breath of fresh air . his funny humor, great come backs . It was so much fun ! i got the biggest smile when i seen rob and his family ! I will truly miss him but I will always have happy memories. to your family I am very sorry for your loss. theresa ( Costco)
Robert was my work husband. We sat next to eachother for years in the Telus business department. I have a son and daughter a little younger then Brit and Anthony. Rob taught me alot about being a parent and raising my kids with laughter and love. And I got a lot of hand me downs. Trentin loved Anthony’s hockey pjs so much Rob and Lisa got him several pairs in different sizes so he had them for years.
Rob loved Lisa like no other. He was so proud of her and all the accomplishments she had. In the end her knew he prepared her for what’s coming and found peace in it.
Rest in peace my friend. Your not in pain anymore. Hold a spot for me at the top.
I worked on the same team with Rob more than 15 years ago, and then I joined him again on a different team for the last 5 years. Always kept in touch, the man loved sharing jokes. When I first started working with him, he sat right by an entrance where people came off the elevator and enter the office. If you were passing through he would greet you with a hello and loved to make everyone laugh. I thought his jokes were hilarious. He put up with me when I gave him a hard time if the joke was bad. We had many good conversations in the day. He was always so nice. A delight to be around. I considered him a good friend and I am missing him.
Rob’s passing is a reminder to me about time, and life’s fragility. It is truly a gift. I am sorry the family has to bear this loss. Sharing my deepest condolences to his wife Lisa, children Brittany and Anthony, and family.
Sincerely,
Sharon

Rob was an amazing person and I am glad I got to meet him. My great-grandmother wrote a poem when she lost a close family member. I would like to share it with you.
" Between you and me my beloved one, deaths hung a mystic veil through which they say no mortal eye has ever ever seen. But yet at twilight time i walk within my garden fair, I know you're here my beloved one. I know your spirit is near."
One of the most wonderful human beings i have ever met. I met Robert at Southwood Hospice and over many weeks have laughed and cried with him. He shared so many precious memories with me and was truly an inspiration. My sincere condolences go to his family. I will never forget you Robert, Rest In Peace.
