Obituary of Dorothy Stephanie O'Neill

Dorothy (Dot) O'Neill of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the age of 89 years.

Dot was born in McKinnon Hill, NB and was a proud member of the Priddis Woman's League and enjoyed golfing, bowling, bingo and aquacise at the YMCA. She was the first lady to achieve a hole in one on the 15th Hole at Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club, on June 10, 1986. Her most memorable vacation was driving and camping with family across Canada in 1971.

Dot will be most remembered for her jokes, sarcastic wit, baking (especially her Yankee Buns and Sugar Pie), and especially her love for anyone who touched her life.

Dot was the beloved wife of Huntley, and mother to Shawn (Tracy) and Maureen. She was the proud grandmother of Darby and Kyle. She is also survived by her sister Jeanne, brother-in-law Rick (Lynn) Brandi and Brittany, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Laurent and Stephanie Doiron, her brothers, Frank, Leo, and John; her sisters, Anita, Alma, and Bert; and her dog Lexi.
