John Allan Goleski Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, 16, November 2023, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 76.

John Sr. was born in Deloraine, MB, on July 20, 1947, and grew up on a farm outside Melita, MB.

In later life he resided in Calgary, AB, with his wife Gwen and raised one son John Jr. John Sr. made his career in the trucking industry and enjoyed hunting, and fishing in his spare time.

John Sr. is survived by his son John Jr. (Pamela Meikle), grandson Cameron, granddaughter Victoria, and siblings, Victor (Lorna) Goleski, Robert (Barbara) Goleski, Kathleen Barrows, Sharon (Earl) Goforth, Mike (Debbie) Goleski, Barbara (Robert) Norman, Debbie (Shawn) Berry, and Danny (Terri) Goleski, Beverley (Redshaw) Goleski. John Sr. was predeceased by his wife Gwen, parents Frank and Phyllis, older sister Lavern, younger brother Gordon, and brothers-in-law, Glen Culbertson and Gordon Barrows.
