Obituary of Hien The Quach 郭鄭世賢

February 23, 1960 - Hai Phong, Vietnam

November 22, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hien “Heather” The Trinh Quach, at the age of 63 years on November 22, 2023 after short second battle of breast cancer.

Heather enjoyed gardening, nature, going for long walks, cooking, sewing, spending time with family and friends, and vacationing. Heather’s greatest joys are her grandchildren’s Victoria, Evangeline, Octavia Quach, and Lucas Ho.

Hien is survived by her loving husband Minh Quach. She was a loving mother to Russell (Bo) Quach, and Sarah (Alex) Quach-Ho. Heather is also survived by her mother Anh Tran; three sisters Tchi Hue Tcheng (Jia Sen Liu), Kathy (Tom) Tran, and Anna Cheng; two brothers Sam Trinh, and Tien Trinh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hien is predeceased by her father Johnny Cheng.

Extended special Thank You to the many friends, and family all around the world who have provided support and unconditional love to Heather. 

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Monday December 4, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Reception will be determined on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Heather’s family here.
