My cousin Charlie Veillon let us know of John’s passing, we are so sorry for your loss. I am the daughter of John Tyler and he and Maria would often fill us in on all your travels and the life you both lived in Calgary and if I remember correctly your wonderful wedding.
You and John will be in our thoughts tomorrow along with Steve and George.

Linda,
Mona and I were deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. John and I first met at Opinac in the early 90’s and went on to work together at 4 companies over a period of 17 years. John was an exceptionally talented landman and you could always count on him to make the acquisition, farm in or successful bid at the land sale. Although we lost touch after I retired, I will always remember John for the fun we had and for all he did for me. We will be out of the country for John’s memorial service so please accept our heart felt condolences.

Dear Linda, we are all so deeply saddened by the loss of your John ! John was a very generous person who we looked forward to seeing , especially around Christmas when his hands were always full of chocolates for us!
In fact, he had just booked his table to celebrate with the boys as per usual .
May he rest in peace ❤️

John and I grew up across the street from one another in Saint Bruno on the south shore of Montreal. We were roommates for a period of time in Calgary, way back when, but fell out of touch over the years as people often do. We had many shared interests, including wine, music and motorcycles, and made some mutual friendships over the years. It was one of those friends - Mary Mulligan- who called me with the sad news. I remember John fondly and was saddened to hear of his passing, my thought's are with his friends and family. I raise my glass to you in the memory of old friendships, lost but not forgotten.
Linda, our deepest condolences on the loss of John. It was an honour and pleasure to work with him for 19 years as a partner and a friend. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to George,Steve and John's family. I had the pleasure of seeing John grow up with his mother Maria and his stepdad(my Uncle) John and will always have fond memories. Gone to soon and rest in peace.
My sincere condolences to John's entire family. He was a very kind person and consummate landman. I feel honored to have worked with him and know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jan Boydol
John was a great friend and a better husband. Great conversationalist and fun stories. Shelley and I enjoyed our get togethers and rousing games of Mexican Train. He will be missed and remembered fondly.
I had the pleasure of working with John at Vermilion for a number of years. He was a consummate professional and loved doing deals and interacting with people in the industry. He was very good at what he did, but more importantly, he was a good and kind person with a great sense of humor. I would like to offer my condolences to Linda and all of his family and friends at this difficult time.
Dear Linda,
Caryn and I are so, so sad abut the passing of John. What a great guy. I enjoyed our conversations at the cul-de-sac parties. He would always give me such a hard time that I had never seen the movie the Godfather. In fact, he had given me the assignment to watch it so we would discuss at a later date. He had a great positive spirit about him. He and you are in our prayers during this very difficult time. If there is anything we can do for you, don't hesitate to let us know. We will miss him. God bless you.
Michael & Caryn
