Condolences
Deepest sympathies to you Delaine and your family on the passing of your beloved husband. Ed and I have wonderful memories of the early days of Grace in Okotoks and special times at Peace with Ron. He was a very special person and made a positive impact on our lives. God bless you and grant you all a special measure of his peace at this difficult time.

My uncle Ron always had a big smile and a genuine laugh to back it up. He will be missed by all who knew him. My oldest and dearest memories of him go back to learning how to golf when I was just 10. At Maple Ridge, 5th hole, I was having trouble making contact with the ball and feeling like I was being slow and holding everybody up. I turn around, after missing the ball again and there's that big old smile. "It's all right, take your time." He says, half laughing. And I knew he meant it! So I take a breath, relax and hit a good shot. It's a good memory. That smile. Always so patient and kind.
A life well lived. RIP uncle Ron.

Dear Auntie Delaine, Kelly and Lew, Cam and Sue, Brent and Tanya and all your families. God has blessed you and all of us with family. An incredible gift! Uncle Ron was a dear man who loved his family and led by example. He loved the Lord and taught what he knew to all of you. I give thanks for Uncle Ron. Sending you my love as you grieve and celebrate a man so deeply cherished. Love to you all. Kirsti (Hovdestad) Haugen
Dear Susan, Cam and family,
Know that you are in my thoughts as you manage this very sad time. It sounds like Ron was an amazing family man.
Sincere condolences,

We will miss Ron, his warm smile, his loving, caring and gentle nature and his sense of humour. Our family was richer because he was part of it and he was always keen to participate in “ anything family”. He loved driving and was often a few miles/km over the speed limit. I recall one time when I was travelling with him and Delaine, we had to stop for gas and as he looked at the traffic on the highway he commented, “Just look at all those cars I have to pass”.
We will miss him dearly and he will always have a special spot in our hearts and memories

Grandpa was the most kind-hearted man who always welcomed us with his big smile and cute chuckle. He would chat for hours and loved to ask about my life (along with everyone else!)
A very distinct memory I have was when I was little, it was my first soccer game and I was so nervous I was crying and almost didn’t play - grandpa got on my level, made me feel better, gave me confidence, and cheered me on! That was a big moment for me.
That’s just a small example of the type of man he was - a cheerleader! I will miss his presence so much. Thankful for his legacy and we will continue it on!
Love you grandpa, see you again <3 we know you’re in peace and rejoicing up there!
Uncle Ron was a very kind man. I spent many weekends in their home as a kid. So many great memories! I always remember as a kid and right through to my last visit with him, a big smile along with how are you doing!?!
Uncle Ron will be greatly missed.
Loved you Uncle Ron and love your dear family.
My prayer for comfort for each of you as you walk this new chapter of life. Hugs.
