Condolences
The team at Reliable Home Inc. sends our condolences to the family of such a lively wonderful woman. We had the pleasure of working for Marjorie and Jackie for the last 7 years and always enjoyed her conversation and sense of humour. She will be missed by all.
Hi to Jackie and to Marge's Family - I met Marge later in her life, on a cruise through Good Companions 50+ club December 2022. We were a group of 30. We had the opportunity to dine together as a group each night of the cruise, although separated into tables loosely connected. After having met Marge and Jackie the first evening, I found myself jockeying to sit with them as much as possible: joie de vivre, great listeners, great conversationalists. As a 'younger' woman, I found both women to be an inspiration to live my life fully, and importantly, to share. LOVE to all, Sue Rock, member, Good Companions 50+ Club, fellow traveler, and most recently, steward of a weekly sing-a-long program at the Club.
We have such nice memories of the times that Marge and Mom Bert would come to the "cabin in the woods" in Canmore, just across from our home to spend mostly weekends, for some "happy (hour) times" and we would often join them!
Or we would go with them, for a stroll to the Bow River or looking for wild mushroom's, (and invite them afterwards, for wild mushroom omelets!).
Our heartfelt condolence to Jacky, brother John and son Allen.

It is with sadness to hear that Marge is no longer with us.
I chatted with her over the years via email and on Facebook and once via FaceTime. She would be 3rd cousin to me as we discovered each other doing our family history.
Although we never met in person, our friendship remained and was greatful with all her knowledge and family history.
She in many ways looks very much like my aunt
Violet Mc Ilveen and my mother Harriett Mc Ilveen.
My thoughts are with her and her family circle and friends
At this sad time of year.

Marge was family. She and my Dad were cousins. I corresponded with Marge for many years and one of my fondest memories is of taking a ten day Mexican cruise with Marge and Jackie, and my parents about fifteen years ago. We all had such a great time spending time together. We emailed back and forth for many years and Marge shared many family memories. The last time I heard from Marge was prior to Marge and Jackie moving from their long time home to an assisted living facility. When I didn’t hear from Marge at Christmas I knew something was amiss. I am so very very sorry to hear of Marge’s passing. She was an amazing woman, my deepest condolences to Jackie and her brother John. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace dear Marge, sending my love and hugs to dear Jackie. Cathy Daun Hicks
