Condolences
Dear Jim, Jamie, Kathy, and Rob,
I am saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved wife and mother Margaret.
She was such a warm and extremely gracious person, who clearly loved people well. Margaret was the definition of a "people-person" with a beautiful soul. She had a rare generosity of spirit, and such a positive attitude about everything. She made significant contributions as a volunteer with the Calgary Aphasia Center and showed such dedication and commitment as a group facilitator and also as a valued member of the steering committee.
I know that her passing is a huge loss to your family and all of her extended family and close friends, as well as the many friends she made along the way with her extensive community involvement. She was a very bright light in this world and such a source of positive energy and encouragement. Her very sunny disposition was a true gift to all who were blessed to meet her. I am grateful for the privilege and pleasure that I had to meet her many years ago.
May all of the wonderful memories you have and knowing that many share in your grief bring you comfort and peace at this time of great loss and grief.
With my condolences and prayers,
-Heather Tomlinson

I am very sorry to hear of Marg’s passing and send my condolences to Jim and family. Marg was the first friend I made at the Heritage Weavers Guild. She was a passionate and enthusiastic weaver who was a friend and mentor to everyone in the guild. Her organization skills were a great asset to all of us. A few years ago, Marg donated her huge binder of weaving samples to the guild library where they are available to us for inspiration. She was so much like a weaving older sister to us. For me personally,
Marg was also a role model in our shared faith. RIP, Marg. Prayers said for the repose of your soul.
Dear Jim & family,
We are were saddened to hear of Marg’s passing. She was just so lovely in every way, so kind and generous and will be missed by so many. We are grateful for the times spent while neighbours in Kelvin Grove. We will treasure the times spent on dog walks with Skye and Chance down by by the Elbow River, the fun we had hosting Japanese students, and watching her work her magic creating beautiful things on her weaving loom.
May all of the special times you shared fill your hearts with comforting warmth. Rest in peace dear friend.

I met Margaret several years ago at the deep water workout classes at Glenmore pool and have enjoyed her ongoing positive spirit and lively conversation until recently, when she was no longer able to attend. We will all miss her.

Condolences to Jim and family. I met Margaret and Jim at Aphasia group in 2016. Margaret was volunteering with our group, learning to talk again, read, socialize. Margaret was nice, kind and understanding and a chuckle here and there. I have enjoyed our conversations. Jim, I'm thinking of you, and a few at the Stroke Assn are also thinking of you. Take care Jackie Smith
Margaret was one of the swim gang at Esdras beach, a proud member of the Esdras Wildcats road hocket team and was always involved in the Esdras gang activities. She blossomed into one of the great women on the planet, gracious and kind beyond belief. A sweetheart of the dearest kind. Condolences to Jim and your family on this tough loss, to siblings Mary and Ed left to carry on the Bridge tradition of excellence in life. Nothing but gratitude for this great life.
We were both honored and grateful for the opportunity to know Margaret. When she and Jim were visiting the Gibbons, we were fortunate to be able to experience Marg's witty, playful and loving conversations. She was always smiling and genuinely interested in what others were up to. A wonderful individual that will be greatly missed!
Our condolences to you Jim & your family.
Margaret worked with us on the funeral and touched many lives with her involvement in several ministries.
She always had a smile & was very interested in how everyone was doing.
What a blessing she was to us all.
Love to you, Jim & your family.
