To Jeannie and all the Beitel family, I offer my deepest condolences. I am profoundly saddened, and as I write these words there are tears in my eyes.
Britnee cared so much for her family, and always spoke so proudly and passionately of them. There was an especially big place in her heart for her niece, and a smile would light up Britnee's face or lift her voice whenever she mentioned Everly.
Britnee and I met about 5 years ago as colleagues and within a short time I knew that she was special. She was generous and kind, and had a sharp intelligence which complimented her dry, irreverent wit. It was easy and natural to become friends with her. We were able to talk and laugh about almost anything, and although weeks or months might pass between conversations, they were always interesting, witty and enjoyable. She was easily one of my favourite people.
Her unexpected passing is a sorrow that will stay in my heart a very long time, alongside the deep affection that I will always feel for her. Knowing Britnee has been a joy and a privilege, and I will miss her very much.
