Condolences
Jo will always be remembered in my heart for the kind generous and gentle soul she is. Many a time when I went over I felt a warmth in her prescence a grace in her actions. She always seemed to have rhubarb juice and other delicous snacks always at the ready to be served .Gardeing isnt as easy as it looks sometimes but it was fun learning in her back yard
This woman and her family all taught me this, you can be open to life and others and having an open heart is best shared, cared for, and I am grateful for all I learned and the memories I have
To Carol and Leo and all your families.....warm thoughts and Love I send to you all Elizabeth Dendekker
Loosing someone we care about is never easy. Aunt Jo will be greatly missed by all of us. We will miss Aunt Jo’s hospitality and food and our visits in the garden.

Jo, a joyful beautiful lady who spent many wonderful coffee chat hours with me. She was compassionate, caring, loving and proud to share her special baked goods, soups, and treats with me; she also loved showing everyone her garden, full of veggies and flowers. I have so many treasured memories of Jo, Henry and later her daughter Carol as well; so many smiles, love and encouragement.
Sending my condolences and heartfelt love to Carol, Leo and family; as well as extended family. May God's love surround you with comfort; peace and courage for today, tomorrow and always. Treasure all the precious joys and smiles and forever hold all the beautiful memories in your heart. WIth love, Emily Klassen.
My condolences to Carol, Leo and family. I have plenty of fond memories of both Jo and Henry. They were great hosts when my family and I visited their home. I always loved Jo's fresh baking and preserves. I never had rhubarb juice anywhere else but loved it! I'll always treasure these memories.
