Our deepest condolences to the family of Margaret.
You all have been blessed by having such a sweet, caring, loving, generous mother.
Although I had not seen Margaret in recent years, her smiling face came to mind many times. She was my mentor, friend and laughing companion for many years. I will never forget her tea times at the Springbank home, her recipes and love for “pretty” things. Her love was her family whom she talked about with great pride. She and John befriended our family through Mike’s and Ryan’s friendship and from there they became caring “parents” to our son.
She bestowed her cheerfulness to the rest of our family as well. Once when I was bedridden waiting for back surgery she picked up our two young daughters and took them for a fun trip to market mall. She let them try all perfumes and lipsticks they wanted and fed them all the junk food and candy they could eat without getting sick. What a great gift! Only Margaret would think of such an adventure!
Margaret will be missed greatly but we count our blessings in having met her.
