Condolences
I'm so sorry for your great loss. I have known Donna my whole life! I'm the youngest of the Rooneys, and grew up on Cherovan Drive and grew up attending Sunday mass at St Gerard's. Donna was one of the fantastic ladies of our street. My Mom, (Valerie, passed away in 2016) loved and admired Donna. Also, Apparently Donna and Valerie got a real kick out of the way I called her Quigley and left off "Mrs" when I was a preschooler. I loved her and think of her often with great fondness.
We were so saddened to hear of Donna's passing. We lived down the street from the Quigley family our whole lives and always got a friendly hello from her on our way to the elementary school and, later, on our way to high school. Donna was always a favourite of our Mom, Audrey Redman, and they were two of the original ladies of Chinook Park. Our mom so appreciated Donna’s visits to her towards the end of her life, as did Scott and I. It felt so right to hear them chatting and laughing. The Redman family send their condolences for the loss of a lively, lovely lady. She will be much missed. Scott and Kelly Redman
On behalf of my parents Lloyd and Audrey Parks , I would like to say they truly enjoyed any time spent with Quig and Donna. That involved golf at Canyon Meadows and time in Lake Havasu. I too enjoyed time with Donna who was a lovely woman, at Canyon Meadows. Whenever you saw Donna, she that wonderful smile. She will be missed.

I am writing on behalf of Gord and Shirley Ferguson. In 1950 they moved to Calgary from Winnipeg and became part of the gang of Quigley's, Folletts, Jacques and I know there were others. I have heard several stories over the years and how much fun was enjoyed by all. I am not sure if it was your family but there was a visit in Montreal during EXPO 67. I also remember hosting a luncheon here in Calgary when my folks came to visit. My Mom and Dad have both passed away, Mom at 92 and Dad at 95. On behalf of them and the memories they had of the friendships here in Calgary, I would like to pass on my condolences to the Quigley family. Jane (Ferguson) MacDonald
"Mrs Q" was one of the truly lovely ladies, who always had a bright smile, loved cookies and had a never ending interest in all of our lives. We always knew that "our second mom" loved us unconditionally. We are blessed to have the enduring friendship of the Quigley family and we offer our heartfelt condolences. We will miss this wonderful matriarch.
