Condolences
I worked with Wayne for many years both at Pacific and Ocelot. He had a terrific sense of humour and we used to joke about things all the time. We also played recreational basketball together for many years and enjoyed having a refreshment together afterwards. Our sincerest condolences to the family

Wayne and I worked together at Pacific Petroleums after graduation and had a long 50 plus years as friends. Wayne worked in Geological Operations and became a world class petrophysicist. So many of us relied on, and learned so much from him. In our early years together we determined that although we had graduated from university, there were numerous life skills we needed to succeed in life. We took several continuing education courses - automotives, electrical, plumbing, horticulture and the like. We were always fixing something and helping friends with garage and rumpus room wiring and working on our cars. We enjoyed hiking together, especially at Waterton Lakes. Wayne had a long successful career at Pacific, Ocelot on NAL We used to joke about Ocelot and called it Ocelot 33 as so many of the gang had left Pacific 66 to join Ocelot. Many of the Pacific Pete gang and wives have stayed close and had Christmas gatherings and luncheons. At our last small supper gathering in 2023 Wayne was not well and had obviously declined rapidly. At these gatherings he loved to reminisce about our many adventures at work and other activities. Wayne easily made and retained friends because of his genuine sincere nature. He will be dearly missed by so many of us. Greg and Judy Cave
Wayne & I worked together at Ocelot for about 8 years, stayed in touch for many more. Wayne was always friendly, happy and... excellent at this job! Wishing the best for Dianne and the family - may your memories of many wonderful times help you through this time or sorrow. Wayne was a great guy.
Was with Wayne at Pacific in 69, Ocelot 78-97, so much for work. He and Dianne became our best friends and will miss him. Lots of activities with the family while they were growing up and cards and chinese food later on. Hard to believe.
