Mark Phillip Svendsen born in Calgary, AB on December 27, 1959, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Mark is survived by his brother Stephen (Caroline) and numerous family and friends in Denmark, USA and Canada.
Mark was predeceased by his dad Gilbert Svendsen and passed at the same time as his mom Else.
Mark had a very kind spirit and loved camping and fishing. His favorite place was CR9 on the Cascade River in Banff National Park. Mark also enjoyed cooking, sports, and his favorite teams were the Saskatchewan Riders and the New York Islanders. He also enjoyed watching curling, baseball, basketball, and the NFL. Mark worked as a Brakeman/Switchman for many years.

Funeral Services will be held at Lutheran Church of the Cross (10620 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall.
