Condolences
I worked with John at the City of Calgary when he mentored me in health and safety, in 1989 with the Streets Division. John’s humour and his stories to illustrate a point are not forgotten. I have thought of him often. My condolences to his family and friends.

Mrs. Lawson and Family,
- Our sincerest condolences on the loss of Jack. I still have the wooden truck he made for me when I was a little boy. I was saddened to hear of your families loss. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

We were sorry to learn of Jack's passing. Growing up the highlight of the year was visiting the Lawsons and extended family for holiday celebrations. As the youngest people at these events, Jack would take the time to show us kids his latest woodworking project, each showing great skill. I will remember him as kind, patient and always quick to smile. A great story teller and a warm host. Our thoughts are with family and anyone who had the great pleasure to have known him.

John was a great boss - he’ll be missed by all who knew him!
So sorry to hear about Jack's passing. I have fond memories of spending time with Jack and family at Christmas time through out my childhood. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Deepest sympathy Betty, Lori and Em for your profound loss from Luce and me. I will always remember Jack as a quick-witted character. When he smiled, his eyes would smile and dance and you knew there was something going on behind those blue eyes. I know that Jack will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Jack
