Sandy and I have a long history with Duey from before he was married. I worked for him and he for me. We shared many wonderful friends and some great times together including his unforgettable wedding to Hillary. We will all miss his fun loving spirit.
You were one of a kind cousin! We love you and will miss you so very much and it’s hard to grasp you’ve left us so soon. Our hearts ache for Hillary, your children and your grandchildren. We have lost a real gem! Always with love, Tammy & Grant Lacombe. Canyon Creek, Alberta

He was one in a million! Enjoyed so many memories over the years. Lots and lots of laughs. He rocked the drum at many soccer games even when the girls didn’t necessarily want it haha! The many fires whether camping or the back yard, camping one time I woke up and the fire was as high as my bed…….in the motor home haha! Many many laughs around the fires. He will be so missed, having a quick chat when heading for a haircut, always something funny to say! Our thoughts are with you all he will be missed but hopefully the memories will replace the sadness over time. What is a world without Duey, sad!
Hilary we are saddened at the passing of Duey. Our condolences to you and your family. You are in our thoughts .

My deepest sympathy to all Duey's friends and family. My name is Daniel Steele. I went to Western with Duey, and he was liked and respected by all that knew him in school. He was one of the good guys. Easy with his smile, and warm to his friends. That's how I remember Duey. I am 66 myself, but this one stung a little, as I thought a lot of him, he was always friendly and kind to me. I hope I run into him when it's my turn to cross the river, so I can tell him so.......
