Condolences
I'm Billy's sister, Jenn. I just wanted to say on behalf of our family, thank you to everyone who has posted here or on any other form, all messages, calls and condolences. It hasn't gotten any easier for us, it's only gotten harder. The huge devastating blow to our family is impossible to put into words. We appreciate and love you all.
I was very saddened by the news of Bills (Wilds) passing ! He and I had chatted some via text & phone after his 'vacation away' . At one point in our convos he said " damn, thats the most Ive ever heard you say" and that may have been a 5 sentence dialogue !!! ... .. . My condolences and empathy to the family yeah . Gods speed in you peoples recovery .
Bill was my go to guy at CHT but we managed to forge a friendship outside of work. I spoke many times with him and shared many trials and hardships. He was very honest with me about what he was going through and how he was working on himself to better. I spoke with just the thursday before and he seemed so upbeat. I don't know what demons decided to rear there ugly heads but I wish he had of called. I will miss you my friend, my heart aches for your family and will always think of you.
Although I only met Bill once at a work event, I remember the kindness in his eyes and thinking what a nice guy he was. Like many people, his journey was marked with battles unseen, and I hope his family and friends hold on to the light of his memory. His absence leaves a void for those who knew him. I hope he is resting peacefully knowing he is very missed and forever remembered.
I was shocked and heart broken to hear of Bills passing. He was my ally at CHT for 5 years and we became very close. Bill acted like the tough guy but deep down he was a big softie who would do anything for the people he cared about. My heart goes out to his family during this time. Another great one gone too soon.
