Obituary of Charles Wayne Walker

January 15, 1949 – Guelph, Ontario

February 21, 2024 – High River, Alberta

Charles “Wayne” Walker, beloved husband of Valerie Walker, of High River, AB, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Besides his loving wife of 36 years, Valerie, Wayne is survived by daughters, Heidi (Russell) of Edmonton, AB, and Christine (Scott) of Duncan, BC; son Terence (Julie) of Calgary, AB, grandsons, Jack, Max, Charlie, Dawson, and Travis; granddaughters, Brenn, and Samantha.

Wayne is also survived by his brother Jim (Jill) of Ancaster, ON, sisters, Carol (Jim) of Dundalk, ON, and Janice (Frank) of Own Sound, ON; uncles, William Seifried of Guelph, ON, and Bruce Gibner of Vancouver, BC; brother-in-law Robert of Edmonton, AB; sisters-in-law, Elaine (Bill) of Indian River, PE, Joan of Calgary, AB, Stephanie (Gary) of Red Deer, AB, and Cindy of Calgary, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents, J. Bernard and Reva (Gibner) Walker; mother-in-law Adella Hrapchak, brothers-in-law, Ken and Lloyd Hrapchak.
 

A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be announced at a later date.
