Geoff Williams and Team
Extending heartfelt condolences and our love to Maureen, Sharon, Robert and family on Don's passing. He was a fine person who will be missed by all who knew him.
Sincere condolences to the entire family of Don Lamond. It seems to me to be very important to speak about the profoundly positive influence that Don had on so very many boys and young men, particularly as the Akela ( Leader) of our Wolf Cub pack. The skills and values that Don taught still live on in the many young people that he coached and mentored, who also have terrific memories of the delight that Don consistently created at every week’s meetings,
Don’s service to others was incredible, and it continued over so many years.
Don: May you rest in peace; and may your family know that your kindness is still remembered and appreciated by those whom you taught more than half a century ago.
Sincerely,
Michael Tims
To Maureen and family, I offer my sincerest condolences on the passing of Don.
Believe it or not, one of my fondest memories goes back to my teen age days
when I delivered Liberty magazines to his parents house in Bankview,Don would always answer the door.
Little did I know that years later,we would meet again, at Peace Piple Line where he put all of
his previously earned knowledge in the oil patch to good work in the accounting Dept.
His relatioship with the users of the pipline was of high quality and was well regarded.by all..It was a pleasure to have know him He lived a good and happy life.,
May he rest in peace.
Carl Browne.

Mr. Don Lamond...now there is a name that evokes memories. My father (Tom) worked with Don, 1st at Rangeland Pipeline in Pincher Creek (was it you, Mr. Lamond that pulled Dad & his truck out of the ditch one wintery day along the Waterton highway?), and later at HBOG in Calgary. Dad would often come home with a big grin & relate some funny story or joke that he & you had shared that day!
My memory is of the swing you had built in your yard, not too far around the corner from our house in Pincher. It was solidly anchored in the ground, thus making it the best swing around for attempting new records of height achieved!
My condolences to all the family on your loss.
