I first met Bev and Wade over 40 years ago. I will fondly remember Wade's laugh and all the kindness and friendship he extended over the years. I feel blessed to have had so many interesting conversations with Wade as he shared his keen wit, and knowledge in so many areas as his interests and keen observations spanned over many areas of science and the greater world.

He will be missed.

Dear Bev, Sandra and James.

It was a sad evening yesterday when we learned about Wade’s leaving for the other world. We were thinking about him recently when we did not receive any new interesting emails from him and worried like last year. Now you told us that his journey in our world came to an end.

Please, accept our deepest sympathies for your loss.

We shall come to see you soon.

Wade and I have been geologists colleagues and friends for almost a half of a century. He will be very much missed. But he will carry on living in our memories.
