Condolences
Brenda, Bev, Brad and families,
Auntie Jean was always smiling and welcoming. Her gardens were beautiful and she loved to feed the birds and enjoy their antics. She needed to make sure you were fed (yummy thin bread) and would often play the piano for us. She was a bright light in our world and I have great memories of her and Uncle Bill.
Full of stories, always a soft place to land.
Love Barb and Alex
So many wonderful memories of Aunt Jean. Had the pleasure of staying with her and Uncle Bill in Dauphin when I was 18. So much fun. She was a loving, warm lady and made the best thin bread! Miss her dearly. Much love to you ❤️
To Brenda, Brad, Bev & your Families:
Sending our deepest sympathies to you & yours for the loss of your beloved Mother Jean.
We will so fondly remember the many Buchanan family gatherings where we kept happy company with Aunt Jean & Uncle Bill. Aunt Jean's presence made the room brighter with her cheerful manner & her warm welcoming smile.
There will always be a special place in our hearts for her.
A long life, well lived! May she rest in peace.
Love to all -
From: Helen & Kai, Franklin, & Christian & Satory
Jean has not curled with the Hilltop Ladies at the North Hill Curling Club for 20 years, but last week in the locker room someone asked if anyone had news about Jean Buchanan. This was the week before she passed. Jean is still remembered by the women she curled with. All agreed that she was a wonderful person, and a good curler. I also enjoyed playing golf with her at the Calgary Elks for many years.
Sorry for your loss
